I couldn't resist.
I have this basket of assorted non-SU! Stamps. I know what you're thinking- the horror of it. This Harbor Town Lighthouse stamp came from a little shop located inside the lighthouse itself. My husband and I went to Hilton Head Island a while back and voila. A souvenir from the trip. Stamps trump a T-shirt any day. Well, today I'm playing along with Pals Paper Arts color challenge (PPA162).
I have real red.
I have pacific pointe.
And, I even have crumb cake.
Whoop, whoop. I can participate in the card challenge.
Have a super day!
Betsy
Beautiful card, Betsy! Wonderful job of adding color to your stamped image! And, yes! I agree a stamp is a much better souvenir than a t-shirt! Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteOn the same trip, I found this stamping store outside of Parris Island. I think it was called Carolina Stamper? My husband is such a trooper - I toured Parris Island- he toured a stamp store.
DeleteThis is one beautiful card, Betsy! Your water coloring is fantastic....makes me want to head to the shore now! Thanks so much for joining us at the Pals Paper Arts!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for inspiring me. I need to get busy water coloring. It's my favorite way to make a card.
DeleteYour card is gorgeous! Love the coloring and the way you put it all together....and I want to go there, too!
ReplyDeleteI love HHI and need to go back soon. It's such a great family friendly place. This card was so much fun to make. My parents came over yesterday and my mom saw the card and asked to keep it. So glad I had made two. Thank you for your compliments!
DeleteThis is just beautiful! Perfect image to use for this color challenge, and so beautifully done. Thanks for sharing with us at Pals Paper Arts this week!
