My daughter's birthday is New Year's Eve. I may have mentioned that before (wink, wink). This year, I felt like I was running behind - my husband and I planned on taking the kids to a hotel for the night, local, so that she could swim. One night away from the norm, did feel like a vacation. Even though, we drove back close to home to meet my parents and sister for dinner at her favorite local place, we still drove back to the hotel and enjoyed the pool, indoor that is.
Early yesterday morning, I snuck into the craft room and whipped these up for her. See I was running behind and hadn't made her handmade birthday cars yet. So, the morning of her birthday and I'm stamping, cutting, watercoloring, adhering, writing, and sealing. Not to mention I used some framelits...the flip kind.
I mad a circle thin lit flip card and just a quick and simple card that was a standard greeting card size. I love making the stampers regular 8.5 x 11 cut in half and scored, but whenever I'm making birthday cards, I love the larger size, I made my Christmas cards this larger size too.
Happy Stamping and ...Happy New Year,
Betsy
PS- paper pumpkin is still fun and adorable, so sign up and use me as your demonstrator, I would love your business!
