Springtime Vintage

I've been cleaning and organizing for a few days now.  I had this old SU dsp that I just haven't done anything with it, except paint it with this frost white paint, which I must have done recently.  Anyhoo- since I was on the search for a sympathy card for a friend, I thought I would create some art.

Inspired by what I could find on a google search for Springtime Vintage dsp, I stared my creative process.  First, I discovered that this paper is old.  I had no idea that I've had this paper since 2011.  Wow.  It's about time I made some cards with it.

I used my painted piece, found a cream base which measures 5 x 6 and 3/8ths.

Don't ask.

Just look at this ...

Fail.

Here's the painted dsp... It's really shimmery.  Love.

And after several stamp sets... Including teeny tiny wishes.

Ink...

And the stamp-a-ma-jig

Voila

I love how it turned out.

Happy Stamping,
Betsy
